I'm hoping that future installments will answer all of these questions - I want to start tying things up soon.Icy Sedgwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11501193571425442406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1027667674238903920.post-61123604225308886322010-06-13T19:46:43.069-07:002010-06-13T19:46:43.069-07:00OK, Icy - I've gotten this far this evening so...OK, Icy - I've gotten this far this evening so I'm going to have to stop for now. This is a gripping story! I have never read any steampunk and although you said in response to an earlier comment that you weren't sure if it was steampunk or something else, some of the machines and the layout of the city sort of confused me, but i suppose that's to be expected at this stage. Other key questions in my mind are that i am not sure why the resistance is resisting - it's unclear why the Weimar folks are so terrible. It does seem that the resistance is pretty well entrenched, although it is also a bit unclear why the Weimar people don't just gas them out or something if they're all underground. And why does the founder guy live above-ground among the Weimar people? Those are the questions that come to my mind. I like how the action has carried the story along. Chapter 9 had a bit less action in it but most of the chapters have been quite fast-paced which is terrific. Your descriptions are vivid without being overpowering and you've kept things moving. I like what I'm reading & I'll definitely be back for more! :-)PJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521953491880916840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1027667674238903920.post-52471186133914041862010-06-01T09:54:56.941-07:002010-06-01T09:54:56.941-07:00Do hope that Liss had a care when slithering over ...Do hope that Liss had a care when slithering over a broken windowframe.
